Orchard End Organics is owned and run by David Wrenn from a 1.5 acre smallholding, at Kirstead, Norfolk. David moved there in August 2000 and started the conversion to Organic under Demeter's biodynamic principles. The holding is now fully Organic and also has full Biodynamic status. David runs the longest running box scheme in Norwich and delivers weekly to over a 150 regular customers from Norwich to Beccles. Many of his customers have been with him for over 10 years.
We operate a box scheme from our smallholding, growing the vegetables ourselves wherever possible and otherwise buying in from local organic producers. Our priority is that produce such as lettuce, where freshness is crucial, should be grown by us and cut on the day of delivery.
