Oestrogen and Fats
Oestrogen is made from cholesterol by our ovaries and adrenal glands. A diet high in fats, and the fat soluble nutrients they contain, will nourish the endocrine system and provide the raw materials for oestrogen production. Women with this condition [shortened menses] need to eat liberally of butter, cream and the healthy fat of all properly raised animals. Eggs - a symbol of fertility - are especially beneficial.
