Silcocks Organic Farm Shop

David and Juliet Fenton have been farming land at St Michael’s for 25 years and have a lifetime interest in farming, wildlife and the countryside. The land was converted to full organic farm status in 2000.
We are pleased to take orders by telephone or email. We offer free local delivery within a 10 mile radius. We can also arrange delivery further afield for an additional charge.
All our meat is from animals born and reared on the farm. We only use local abattoirs approved by the Soil Association. Meat is hung in our own cool room and butchered in our cutting room adjacent to the shop. Our traditional and rare breed Hereford beef is grazed naturally on clover rich meadows, and hung for up to 28 days, ensuring great marbling and tenderness.
Our award-winning lamb and hogget is from Kent’s indigenous Romney breed, renowned worldwide for its quality. Our Gloucester Old Spot pigs forage naturally in family groups in open paddocks throughout the year, growing at a leisurely pace to give that wonderful traditional pork flavour.
Milk, cream, cheese and ice-cream are all produced from our small herd of dairy cows at the Silcocks Farm Dairy with quality and taste the hallmarks of our dairy produce.
A range of seasonal organic fruit and vegetables is available at Silcocks farm shop, sourced in the main from local farms and producers.
You will find Silcocks Farm Shop at the junction of Grange Road and Reader’s Bridge Road, just outside St Michael’s.
We are open from 9 am to 4 pm Tuesday to Saturday.
