Avoid
Beverages: Commercial soft drinks sweetened with glucose-fructose syrup, maltodextrin, 'fruit concentrates' and high fructose corn syrup and any artificial sweeteners; diet drinks; sports drinks; canned, fruit juices from concentrate; coffee; tea; unfiltered and fluoridated tap water.
Coconut products: Light or low fat sweetened coconut flakes, low fat coconut milk or light coconut cream.
Condiments & Sauces: Commercial sauces and ketchups sweetened with sugars and syrups, mayonnaise and salad dressings made with vegetable oil, instant gravy and stock cubes of any kind.
Dairy products & eggs: Skimmed, semi skimmed, whole homogenised supermarket milk, UHT milk, cream or low fat substitutes; Low fat or processed cheeses, cheese slices, spreads etc, low fat, sweetened yoghurt's; Battery farmed eggs, margarine or low fat spreads of any kind; Imitation milks made from soy, rice etc.
Fats & Oils:Commercial vegetable oils, seed oils and margarines made from sunflower, corn, soy or rapeseed.
Fermented products:Standard pickles, sweetenedchutneys and pasteurised sauerkraut.
Fruit & Veg: Standard tinned fruit and veg, crystallised fruit.
Grains & pulses:Standard refined white breads containing vegetable oils and soya flour; Cold refined breakfast cereals, especially containing puffed grains; White refined flour and flour products, white pasta, white refined rice & soy beans.
Herbs, salts & spices: Iodised free flowing salt, standard table salt, irradiated spice mixtures and MSG.
Ice-cream: Most commercial ice cream made with vegetable oils, refined sugars, additives and propylene glycol (antifreeze).
Meat, poultry & seafood:Minimum standard processed burgers, sausages, tinned meat, barn reared chicken, grain fed commercial beef or lamb and barn reared pork; standard farmed fish and tinned fish in vegetable oils.
Nuts, seeds & snacks: Standard roasted peanuts or seeds or dry roasted or other flavoured nuts, peanut butter with hydrogenated oils. Most commercial biscuits, sweets and treats made with margarine, hydrogenated oils, vegetable oil, refined sugars, syrups, sweeteners or additives.
Soups & Stocks:All dried and instant soup mixtures laden with MSG and flavour enhancers.
Supplements:Synthetic multi vitamin tablets and liquids, most protein powders; meal replacements shakes, diet pills, thermogenic aids and "Nutritional" drinks.
Sweeteners:White sugar, refined syrups and heated honey, high fructose products, concentrated fruit juices and all artificial sweeteners
