Question: Energy & Fats
I made a presumption that the fitter you are the more the requirement for good saturated fats in your meals to optimise energy production at a cellular level...this was based upon the amount of energy given up per molecule of Sat. fat is greater than that per carb molecule (glucose) - and that the fitter you are the more you will burn as energy? Is this a fair hypothesis to say? If so, do you know of any journal which has tested such a hypothesis or anything similar?
